Quick Selection
- S1010 – Anti-tilt safety interlock for 2-drawer cabinets, standard recommended solution, simple and stable mechanism.
- S1010B – Extension kit for multi-drawer cabinets, used with aluminum bar, recommended only for engineered projects.
Product Overview & Positioning
| Model | Positioning | Recommended No. of Drawers | Key Function | Usage Strategy |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| S1010 | Standard drawer anti-tilt safety lock set. | 2-drawer cabinet. | When the upper drawer is opened, the lower drawer is automatically locked to avoid opening both drawers at the same time. | Primary recommended solution. Simpler structure, better stability and easier maintenance. |
| S1010B | Extension lock kit with aluminum bar for multi-drawer cabinets. | Approx. 2–5 drawers (subject to engineering review). | Used with an aluminum bar to extend the interlock mechanism to additional drawers, enabling “open one, lock the others”. | For special engineered projects only. Cabinet structure must be evaluated by design/engineering teams. |

Product Description
1. S1010 – Recommended 2-Drawer Anti-Tilt Solution
- Designed for 2-drawer cabinets with a mechanical interlock: opening the upper drawer automatically locks the lower drawer to reduce tipping risk.
- Clear installation path and simple mechanism, suitable for standardized production in cabinet factories.
- Ideal for cabinets storing heavy contents such as files, components and tools, where user safety is a priority.
2. S1010B – Extension Kit for Multi-Drawer Cabinets
- Used together with an aluminum bar to extend the interlock mechanism to multiple drawers (typically 3–5 drawers).
- Only recommended for projects with proper cabinet design and structural evaluation.
- Interlock performance depends on cabinet stiffness, slide selection, drawer spacing and installation accuracy.
3. Design & Installation Notes
- For most applications, a 2-drawer cabinet with S1010 is the preferred configuration for safety, stability and ease of maintenance.
- Multi-drawer extensions using S1010B should only be implemented after confirming cabinet height, drawer travel, side panel thickness and fixing method.
- It is recommended to build a sample cabinet to verify the sliding feel and interlocking action before mass production.
Applications & Use Cases
1. Suggested Cabinet Types
- Office filing cabinets and document storage cabinets (upper and lower drawers).
- Metal parts cabinets, tool cabinets and spare parts storage cabinets.
- Workstations, factory cabinets and storage units in warehouses and laboratories where tipping risk must be controlled.
2. Typical Usage Scenarios
- Cabinets storing dense and heavy items, where multiple drawers being pulled out together could cause the cabinet to tilt forward.
- Environments with frequent drawer operation, such as workstations and inventory management areas.
3. Limitations
- This product is an auxiliary anti-tilt device and does not replace overall cabinet structural design or wall-fixing measures.
- Actual safety performance depends on load distribution, cabinet materials, fixing method and floor conditions.
- Multi-drawer applications using S1010B should be limited to engineered projects. Extending beyond the recommended number of drawers or unapproved modifications are not advised.
Disclaimer
- This product is an auxiliary drawer interlock and anti-tilt device. It cannot guarantee that a cabinet will never tip over under all conditions. Overall safety still depends on cabinet structural design and installation quality.
- For most applications, a 2-drawer cabinet combined with the standard interlock is the recommended configuration. Multi-drawer extensions should only be used in engineered projects after structural evaluation.
- The suitable number of drawers, cabinet dimensions, materials, mounting position and fixing method must be confirmed by professional designers or engineers according to the actual drawings and usage conditions.
- Product appearance, structure and component specifications may be updated without prior notice. Please refer to the official quotation and engineering drawings, as well as the actual delivered goods, for final confirmation.
- Images on the website and in catalogs are for illustration purposes only. Colors and surface appearance may vary due to monitor settings or lighting conditions. Minor dimensional deviations are within normal manufacturing tolerance.
- Users are responsible for ensuring that the product complies with local regulations and safety requirements, and for proper installation, periodic inspection and maintenance. The manufacturer is not liable for any damage resulting from improper installation, use beyond recommended conditions or unauthorized modification.
Design Notes for Engineers
- Start from a 2-drawer configuration with the S1010 interlock as the default safety concept.
- When more drawers are required, verify cabinet stiffness, slide type, drawer spacing and aluminum bar routing before adopting S1010B.
- Consider wall anchoring or floor fixing for tall or heavily loaded cabinets in addition to the interlock system.
