The D1017 Bed Post Insert Nut is designed for wooden bed frames requiring strong, reliable, and removable threaded connections. It features a 5/16" internal thread, a 25 mm length, and a zinc-plated finish that provides basic corrosion resistance for indoor furniture applications.
The outer surface includes ringed gripping ribs, allowing the insert nut to be pressed or tapped securely into pre-drilled holes. This set also includes a spring, which provides pre-load and vibration resistance to minimize loosening or squeaking during prolonged use.
Commonly used with bed bolts, connector bolts, and other 5/16" fasteners in bed frame construction.
